Growing up a teen in the 90s led me to developing a love for Hip-hop music that I didn't originally have before. Even now, I would say that 90’s hip-hop was the golden era of rap. Most of what made rap hip-hop was the boom-bap. Early in my musical journey, I spent some time overseas recording my first full hip-hop demo. I came into contact with one Eminem-midwest type of rapper from the St Louis and an east-coast dude from Sumter, SC. People from the area put me in contact with the St Louis rapper. Eventually we ended up on the local Newspaper, had a radio commercial, and we even did a talent competition together. When we came in contact with the Sumter rapper, he provided the recording equipment and time to record. We dropped several songs together. continue...
